Did you know that lux-Airport is the operating company of Luxembourg Airport, providing direct flight services to 89 destinations and employing over 340 people?
In 2021 and despite the health crisis, we welcomed 1.4 million passengers (compared to 4.4 million passengers in 2019) and we have the ambition to increase this number and continue to develop our activities
To achieve this goal and as part of the development of the Terminal Operations department, we are looking to hire our Terminal Operations Processes & Services Intern (M/F/d)
In this position, you will be a valuable part of our Terminal Operations Team and support us in further improving our process and passenger services landscape. You will be able to work independently and also be given the freedom to set your own focus of work (ex. Passenger Processes, Baggage Processes or Resource Management related processes). You will be directly reporting to our Head of Terminal Operations and Terminal Project Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
**_What you will be doing :_**
- _- Assessing the process landscape of the terminal operation (status quo assessment).
- Reviewing the validity of the processes in place and any necessary updates
- Identifying areas for improvement and missing documentation
- Developing, updating and implementing existing or new processes
- Continuing to develop the terminal operations manual
- Aligning processes and communication with internal and external stakeholders, including the ground handling service provider
- Assisting with the day-to-day tasks of the terminal operations
Must Have Requirements
**_What you will need :_**
**Administrative arrangements**:
- Internship agreement mandatory
- Period of internship: minimum 6 months
**Education** : Bachelor or Master level in logistics, transport, aviation or general management studies
**Experience**: A first experience in the aeronautical environment. Experience in an airport, particularly in terminal operations, would be a plus.
A strong interest in understanding and optimising airport processes should be considered a basic requirement.
**Languages**:
English: operational level
French or German: operational level
