- Compensation: EUR 85,000-100,000 base You'll be joining a fast-growing international fintech that provides flexible funding to support SME growth. Originally launched in Australia, the business now operates across APAC and Europe and is continuing to scale.
What you'll do
- Oversee day-to-day operations for the Germany and Luxembourg business, keeping work moving against deadlines, priorities, and service expectations.
- Coordinate across local functions, surface issues early, and keep senior global stakeholders updated on risks, exceptions, and operational progress.
- Maintain local governance, risk, compliance, and GDPR-aligned standards within a broader global operating framework.
- Execute and adapt globally designed workflows, process improvements, and operating procedures to reduce turnaround times and manual effort locally.
- Drive consistent use of core operational platforms and report on volumes, turnaround, exceptions, and SLA performance.
- Partner with Sales, team leads, People and Culture, and external IT providers on service levels, workforce support, and onboarding/offboarding delivery. Who we're looking for You'll likely be a hands-on operations leader who is comfortable running cadence, solving issues quickly, and keeping multiple teams aligned. Must-haves:
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Solid operations management experience running day-to-day execution, cross-functional delivery, SLA or performance tracking, and escalation management.
- Experience improving or implementing operational processes rather than only overseeing them from a distance.
- The ability to run local operational cadence, hold team leads to account, and work credibly with senior stakeholders.
- Experience working in environments where governance, compliance, accuracy, and turnaround performance all matter. Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in financial services, fintech, lending, or another credit-driven or regulated operating environment.
- Exposure to a fast-growing, multi-market business working within a central or global operating model.
- Practical GDPR knowledge in an operational setting. What's in it for you
