We are looking for a hands-on Building Technician who takes pride in keeping complex technical environments safe, efficient, and running smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, working with modern building systems, and being a key person behind the scenes of a large organization, this role is for you. What you will do You will play a central role in the daily technical operations and security of our buildings. Building technical operations Oversee and maintain core building systems. Perform daily supervision and light repairs on:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical installations
- Audio-visual and media systems
- Doors, flooring, and general building equipment
- Coordinate and supervise external technicians when required Security & safety
- Manage building access systems and badge administration
- Support fire detection and evacuation readiness
- Supervise intrusion and surveillance systems
- Monitor datacenter protection systems (UPS, generator, Argonite, CCTV, access logs)
- Coordinate and follow up with security guards
- Workplace moves & installations
- Support internal relocations and workspace setup
- Ensure alignment with building layouts and projects Environmental monitoring
- Perform regular checks of office comfort and safety conditions
- Report technical activities and observations
- Helpdesk & incident response
- Handle staff technical requests
- Manage building tickets and incident resolution Events support
- Technical setup for internal events
- Security supervision during events What we are looking for
- Technical diploma (A-level or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building/facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems
- Familiar with IT-controlled building systems (e.g., Winguard)
- Experience with access control and security systems
- First Aid certification
- Fluent in English and French
- Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to supervise external contractors What you will get
