**Job Description**:
As a Junior Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing cross-jurisdictional legal support to the business. You will be responsible for tracking legal documentation and for the preparation or review of simple documents.

To be successful in this role you must have a legal education and relevant work experience, with excellent organization skills, and be able to build relationships with various stakeholders including legal counsel, compliance and clients.

You will:

- Work closely with the senior/legal counsel on a range of matters relevant to funds in Luxembourg and the UK
- Provide legal support to various functions within the business; including requirements that may pertain to either the funds/fund range or corporate requirements such as regulatory filings
- Keep up to date with contract negotiations, tracking documents and maintaining the database, responding to colleagues’ queries and coordinating correspondence
- Be responsible for various documentation from reviewing reports, maintaining the internal template agreements, tracking outstanding documentation and updating stakeholders
- Be supported to undertake the initial review of NDA’s, distribution agreements, etc.
- Be involved in ad-hoc projects
- Undertake research on regulatory requirements
- Be involved in client onboarding and the review of registration requirements; working with the international compliance team
- Liaise extensively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, in Luxembourg and UK, creating excellent professional relationships
- A law degree or equivalent qualification in law; ideally you will have work experience in an Asset Manager/relevant financial services company with global exposure
- Between 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role and with ability to follow up on relevant legal issues, working autonomously where necessary
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a real client service focus
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment; to build collaborative relationships quickly with various internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent English communication skills are essential, with other languages being an asset
