The GEB Network, composed of more than 100 local insurance companies, is one of the leading partners in the international employee benefits management field, servicing more than 1,500 international corporate customers.

The Lux Branch Risk Function plays a regulatory role in the Assicurazioni Generali framework (as defined in the Solvency II regulation).

The Lux Branch Risk Function main responsibilities are:

- Establish, implement and oversee the risk management systems, processes and controls, including adherence to all Generali Group and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all risks are monitored, analysed and reported in relation to risk appetite, and escalated as appropriate.
- Oversee and challenging first Line Risk and Control activities.
- Oversee and challenge the methodology and tools used by Finance and Actuarial which contribute to the internal capital calculation process.
- Produce and monitor capital requirements both in regulatory and managerial view
- Support the business processes (ALM, SAA, underwriting and reinsurance) with recurrent and ad hoc evaluations
- coordinates the Lux Branch Solvency II Technical Provisions (Lux Branch TP) calculation process, assuring their reliability and adequacy

The main activities are the following:

- To define and articulate a risk appetite framework for the GEB/Lux Branch businesses
- Develop and articulatethe vision, mission, and culture of the risk management function and how it interacts with the business. Be at the forefront of and consolidate ongoing and anticipated changes, projects and initiatives originating from AG, Generali Care Hub and/or Lux Branch which impact the GEB/Lux businesses risk profile
- Provide necessary information, advice and support to the Group Risk Function, Executive and Board Committees
- Ensure the full compliance and timely delivery of regular risk reporting to the Risk Committee and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all Risk related business processes and procedures are robust, fit for purpose and adhere to groups guidelines and also meet Regulatory environment
- Prepare the Risk plan and Risk budget for the following full year.
- Manage and set the Risk teamperformance targets and to carry out the annual performance reviews
- Act in an advisory capacity for risk and regulatory aspects across the business including keeping senior management and Group abreast of any statutory and/or regulatory changes in this area

Your Profile

Must have
- Master degree in actuarial sciences, statistics or mathematics, or otherwise either finance/insurance-specific post degree qualifications
- at least seven years of qualifying experience in the valuation of risk and/or insurance obligations, appraisal of their risk or value
- Knowledge of Solvency II regulatory framework, Life and Non-Life insurance products, reserving calculation and validation techniques, reinsurance;
- English proficiency.
