Join us as a Head of Depositary Services, Luxembourg
- In this key role, you’ll provide leadership and in-country strategic direction for the business across Luxembourg in support of the NatWest Group Depositary Services (NWGDS) vision, strategy and business balanced scorecard
- You’ll also be responsible for the local reporting lines for all staff and functions, leading effectively in collaboration with the matrix reporting lines in place for NWGDS

**What you'll do**:
You will contribute to the development of a current and long-term vision for the wider NWGDS business, you’ll be driving the Lux Depositary Services’ (Lux DS) specific initiatives to implement this within the jurisdiction and responding to changes in the market.

You’ll also be developing and maintaining an active and influential position with key regulatory, industry and client bodies as an Authorised Manager to ensure market connectivity and gaining valuable insight to support both our strategic direction and involvement with sector related government initiatives.

Additionally, you’ll be:

- Leading, managing and ensuring the delivery of the relevant defined good customer outcomes throughout the region alongside evidence based regulatory compliance
- Accountable for internal and external stakeholder management, proactively promoting the Lux DS brand
- Acting as a coach and mentor to team members by sharing best practices and providing relevant support and development opportunities
- Ensuring effective collaboration with other NWG depositary counterparts, product and outsourcing partners and third parties, operational units and other areas of the bank to deliver outstanding service to clients
- Making sure Lux DS has an effective business continuity and recovery and resolution plans in place and that all regulatory requirements are met and can be evidenced
- Identifying, managing and taking up escalations of conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomes

**The skills you'll need**:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need detailed knowledge and understanding of the local alternative’s asset management market, including the financial, economic and regulatory environments, drivers and direction of travel.

We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit in building the business and who has experience of Depositary Services, KYC and KYB, regulatory engagement and control processes.

Furthermore, you’ll also need:

- The ability to interpret and coach others on complex profit and loss data, balance sheet information, and management accounts
- Highly developed networking skills and presence in the local market
- The ability to energise others to make sure that there is a positive culture of supporting enterprise at all levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage and lead people through change
