For a renowned, international Banking Corporation in Luxembourg we are looking for you as:
**Risk - Controlling Specialist (gn) in Luxembourg**:
**Key Tasks**:

- Independently evaluate and monitor the credit risk associated with loans and guarantees in standard and structured operations with corporate counterparts, in line with guidelines and procedures for the department. This includes the specifics are related to credit review as well, but, with strong risk controlling capabilities, impairment calculation will be key to succeed / be selected, beyond other criteria indicated
- Assessing credit risk, formulating independent opinions and recommendations on new debt operations, validating counterpart ratings and credit limits;
- Extensively collaborating with other team members and relevant departments,
- Overseeing and managing the credit risk control of both financial and non-financial risks;
- Maintain and develop bank’s risk controlling framework and risk policies
- Closely following/anticipating developments/trends in the bank portfolio and proactively reporting to the CRO;
- Check the quality and correctness of credit risk related information/data input into various IT systems;
- Contribute to developing and improving procedures, support and control systems, IT systems, methodologies and working tools;
- Proactively advise and present recommendations on complex credit risk issues and related policy initiatives for credit risk management;
- Ensure that policies and procedures related to credit risk are adapted and reviewed regularly.

**Key Requirements**:

- Succesful study degree in Finance, Business Administration or Banking
- Multi annual working experience within Corporate / Investment banking sector;
- Familiar with financial markets, financing and risk mitigating structures;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills, high attention to detail;
- Drives a culture of risk management and mitigation, Identifies and escalates significant risks and incidents;
- Ability to grasp complex issues quickly, interpret information and communicate issues effectively;
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and to interface at all levels of employees;
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stress resistance to deliver in timely manner
- Fluent language skills in English and another European language
