**THE COMPANY**:
Our client is a global investment management firm, holding a dual licence as a UCITS Management Company and AIFM. They are looking for a Compliance Manager to join the team in Luxembourg.
**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Managing Compliance related risks
- Analysis of new initiatives of the Business
- Performing Compliance Risk Assessments
- Conflict-of-Interest-Management
- AML/CTF-Framework including the assessment on new investments, investors, business relationships or other stakeholders
- Complaints-Management
- Implementation of regulatory or internal group requirements
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments as integral part of the internal regulatory update group
- Review Policy-Framework
- Maintenance and coordination of the Business Policy-Framework (Internal and public policies)
- Annual assessment and coordination within the group/division
- Staff-Training
- Coordination of regulatory required and Business specific trainings
- Customization of training material to local needs and execution of trainings to the Business employees and Board members of the Business and the funds.
- Maintenance and further improvement of Internal Control System
- Establishment and roll out of the annual control plan
- Monitoring / assessment of daily controls of the existing department specific processes
- Support and advise Management in compliance related matters:
- Awareness-Raising-Program
- Reporting/Escalation of Compliance Risks
- Active participation to various local and global committees, working groups and projects
- Reporting to internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Management Committee, Board of Directors, Business division and group, regulator and audit)
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:
- Proven professional Compliance experience in the investment funds industry (4 or more years)
- Strong Compliance & regulatory expertise in AIFMD and UCITS
- Entrepreneurial mind-set to set-up, implement required processes and further improve them
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German or French.
- Strong team player in an international context, dynamic and resilient with the ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of MS Office
