Our Mileway Investment Accounting team, organised by country teams following jurisdictions where logistics assets are held, is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and compliance of a large portfolio of real estate entities and investments (property and holding companies) throughout Europe.
Based in Luxembourg and working closely with the Manager Corporate Finance Compliance you will be part of the recently established Mileway Corporate Finance Compliance team, built to lead efforts to
**support Investment Accounting and ensure adequate delivery of the deliverables across the teams.**
**The Corporate Finance Compliance team is responsible for handling and centralising accounting and finance activities that are impacting several jurisdictions.**
These hands-on roles are working very closely alongside the Investment Accounting team members responsible for the jurisdictions in which Mileway operates.

**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate and jointly own projects incorporating the financing/refinancing steps with Mileway
Investment Accounting / Tax / Treasury / Legal & Compliance teams and Blackstone;
- Ensure accurate compliance of refinancing, tax and other processes across multiple jurisdictions;
- Co-ordinate and process tax documentation collection and payments/refunds across the structure to ensure that payments are met in a timely manner
- Work closely with the Investment Accounting team to ensure accurate reporting;
- Run the six-monthly internal recharge process for all entities in the Group;
- Liaise with Financial Planning Analysis and Group Controlling team in Amsterdam for the reporting piece;
- Provide administrative support to Investment Accounting team;
- Prepare central accounting journals
- Take on ad-hoc Finance projects as required.
**Profile**
- Professional accounting qualification
- **At least 6 years of experience in accounting/tax environment**:
- Thorough understanding of tax mechanics / logic
- Ability to see the big picture and maintain the overview (eg. back-to-back financings) while processing at a detailed level
- Strong knowledge of finance processes
- Strong quality in accounting data management (pivot table etc)
- Experience with analysing financials
- Ability to coordinate and work collaboratively with other teams
- Strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on requests received
- Excellent oral and written communication English skills
- Excellent Office skills
- Yardi and or Tableau knowledge is appreciated
- Knowledge of UK or Luxembourg tax and cross border transactions would be an asset
- Real estate experience desirable
