Your Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data
- Managing bookkeeping for the entity
- Maintaining financial accounts, journals, ledgers, and other records using both automated and manual systems
- Participating in regular updates to accounting ledgers
- Responding to information requests efficiently
- Collaborating, with other departments and external auditors, coordinating audits, and ensuring follow-up
- Contributing to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of procedures within the department
- Identifying problematic transactions and irregularities in related accounts and resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Actively engaging in knowledge sharing within the team
Your Profile
- You have a university degree, preferably at the post-graduate level, in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- You possess minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience at a comparable level of responsibility in accounting, preferably within a multinational organization, an esteemed international accounting/audit institution, or the banking sector
- You are familiar with various accounting frameworks such as IFRS, IPSAS, Accounting rules adopted by the European Union, as well as any national accounting framework such as Luxembourg Accounting Principles would be beneficial
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft and Business Objects, or similar software would be beneficial
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English
- You hold excellent interpersonal skills
- You have outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
