With assets under management totaling over EUR 500 billion and a staff of more than 4,000 present in over 40 countries, _**_BNP Paribas Asset Management _**_offers a comprehensive range of financial management services to institutional clients and distributors around the globe. _ **_BNP Paribas Asset Management_**_ also heads a line-up of specialized management companies, each with its own area of expertise and investment policies tailored to a particular asset class or local needs. _ **_BNP Paribas Asset Management_**_ is searching for a :_ **Trainee - KYC Oversight Officer (M/F)** **Trainee position - 6 months** **You must have an internship agreement** **Your mission**: We are developing the Oversight function within the firm and in order to be compliant with regulation we need to make sure that our delegates fully respect their obligations with AML/KYC matters. Analysing reports and client data on investors,intermediaries and beneficial owners in accordance with AML/KYC regulations is key. Your main role will be: - Support our team in ensuring reports are produced or controlled within set deadlines - Help in the analysis of documentation and any additional internal or external research required - Active contribution and participation in all teams’ tasks - Provide with a reporting to your coordinator on a regular basis **Working environment**: The KYC Oversight team is part of the Global Client Service which is a key component of the Global Client Group at BNP Paribas Asset Management. The principal objective of this team is to: - Ensure timely reception and production of control reports in relation with identification and review of our investors files as per the agreed risk base approach. Ensure our objective to reflect correct investor status is met in all systems. - Review service provided by our delegates by thorough analysis of data to ensure it is in line with agreed service agreement. - Ensure regular communication and issues escalation to senior management in the possible delay The primary mission of the Client Service Team is to establish and provide a proactive support platform for the BNP Paribas Asset Management Sales Channels, clients, and prospects. **Your profile** - Education: Bachelor (in due course) **Behavioural Skills**: - Ability to collaborate / Teamwork - Attention to detail / rigor - Organizational skills **Transversal Skills**: - Analytical Ability **Technical Skills**: - Expert command of Excel software - Ideally, you feel at ease with data research and analysis - Search for excellence in results provided - At ease in communication skills with the team and internal staff - You are a team player **Language Skills**: - Good command of French (C1) and English (B2) **Primary Location**: LU-L-Luxembourg **Job Type**: Internship **Job**: TEMPORARY STATUS **Education Level***: Master Degree or equivalent (> 4 years) **Experience Level***: Beginner **Schedule**: Full-time
