**Your role - Are you ready for a challenge?**

The Private Markets Monitoring Intern is responsible for performing adequate assessment of the valuation, the capital transactions and the risks linked to Private Equity and Real Estate funds or any other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability, in order to mitigate financial, operational, legal and reputational risks.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

- Proper understanding and due diligence of new unquoted investments until the final target assets held within the investment structure to be acquired by and held by the insurance policies;
- Analysis and good understanding of standard private equity deal documentation and agreement is key for this role;
- Enhanced assessment of the valuation of the unquoted investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that investment within an insurance policy as a whole;
- Close supervision and coordination of any re-structuring, corporate action on existing positions in unquoted assets;
- Assistance for the monitoring of the deposit of private investments at custodian bank, i.e. ensure evidence of the deposit is on file, valuation update is synchronized between the insurer and the custodian bank, subsequent capital transaction are reflected at bank;**Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our**Private Markets Monitoring Intern**?**
- You are currently studying towards an academic qualification in Finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible, must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Confident, professional approach to dealing with colleagues from different departments
- Strong team spirit and a dynamic personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with the common MS Office software is a mustFluency in written and verbal English, knowledge of another major European language is a plus.
