**Meet our team**

The Technology and Information Security Oversight team is responsible for providing Second Line of Defense oversight of technology and security. The team provides risk visibility to effectively challenge the capabilities provided by the First Line of Defense organization to ensure PayPal meets its regulatory and business objectives.

**Your way to impact**

Information Security Oversight Manager provides Second Line of Defense (SLOD) oversight across Information Security strategy, risk, compliance and governance for PayPal Europe.
- Oversees the control environment to ensure that information assets are adequately protected and regional business requirements are met.
- Assists the authorized management in assessing and addressing the information security risks.
- Strives to continuously improve and mature the control environment in collaboration with global and regional stakeholders.

**Your day-to-day**

As part of their day-to-day role, the Information Security Oversight Manager will do:

- Advise authorized management in identifying, assessing and addressing the information security risks.
- Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to address regulatory and business requirements
- Monitor and ensure the delivery of information security services in accordance with service level agreements.
- Verify that the controls in place to detect and prevent the emergence of IT security related risks are properly documented, operated and monitored.
- Participate in regional product launch efforts to ensure that InfoSec requirements are identified and addressed.

**Requirements - What You Need To Bring**
- Demonstrable expertise and experience in Information Security
- Leadership skills to autonomously plan actions and influence stakeholders to achieve priorities
- Ability to accurately communicate about technical matters in a business friendly way
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks in the European Union, the United Kingdom and across EMEA
- Curiosity to continuously improve and keep abreast of emerging technologies and risks
- Interest in working within a large organisation of experts and business teams in an international environment.

**Preferred qualifications**
- Relevant training in information technologies, information security, and cybersecurity
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CCSP, CEH, ISO 27001, TOGAF, etc
- Knowledge in regulations and frameworks such as PSD2, DORA, CSSF 20/750, CSSF 22/806, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001.
