Information Security Manager

**What You Will Do**:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our organization's information security strategy, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate security risks, and be responsible for incident response and investigations. Integral to our long-term success is our sustainability strategy, behaving responsibly and supporting our ambitions, all underpinned by high governance.
What You Will Do
- Be the single point of contact for Information Security at Next Gate Tech
- Maintain security documentation in line with current security frameworks
- Demonstrate experience of threat assessment and vulnerability management across complex business structures, including the deployment, administration and management of network-based vulnerability scanners
- Develop an understanding of internal systems, governance, and IT infrastructure to allow the accurate completion of client security questionnaires and contract reviews
- Lead incident response and investigations, including conducting root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions
- Communicate security risks and incidents to stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Foster a culture of security awareness within the organization

What YOU will bring to the team
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on risk management and incident response CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
