We are currently recruiting for one of our clients a:
**Senior Business Developer - Corporate Banking (Luxembourg)**

**OUR CLIENT**
We are supporting a**leading international banking institution with a long-standing presence in Luxembourg, recognised for its financial strength, local decision-making autonomy and its ability to support corporates on complex, cross-border financial matters.

As part of the strategic expansion of its Corporate Banking activities, our client is creating several senior-level positions to accelerate growth in the Mid-Corporate and international client segments.

**YOUR ROLE**

This is a pure business development role — not a portfolio management position.

You will act as a deal originator and structurer, focusing on complex, high-value, and strategic opportunities. Once a transaction is closed, the day-to-day relationship will be transferred to a Relationship Manager.

You will work closely with internal teams (Relationship Managers, Corporate Finance, DCM, Lending, Cash Management, etc.) and position yourself as a true solution architect for corporate clients.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Business development & acquisition**:

- Originate and acquire new Mid-Corporate and international clients (turnover approx. €50m-€2bn).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of complex and strategic opportunities.
- Leverage your existing professional network (law firms, Big4, advisory firms, corporate service providers, etc.) to generate deal flow.

**Structuring & solution design**:

- Develop comprehensive and innovative financial solutions: lending, cash management, treasury, structured finance, transactional services, etc.
- Collaborate closely with Corporate Finance and DCM teams on sophisticated transactions.
- Actively contribute to the development of new products and service offerings.

**Strategic & transversal role**:

- Provide market intelligence: client needs, competitor positioning, pricing trends, regulatory developments.
- Support and train Relationship Managers in identifying cross-selling and growth opportunities.
- Position yourself as an internal and external ambassador of the Corporate Banking value proposition.
- Represent the bank at conferences, industry events and professional forums.

**Governance & compliance**:

- Ensure full adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, CRM documentation, etc.).
- Maintain high standards in terms of risk awareness and file quality.

**Requirements**:
**YOUR PROFILE**:
This role is strictly intended for **experienced Corporate Banking professionals**.

**Experience**:

- Minimum **10 years’ experience** in Corporate Banking, Business Development, Relationship Management or structured finance.
- Strong exposure to the Luxembourg and/or Benelux corporate market.
- Proven track record in acquiring and developing corporate clients.

**Technical expertise**:

- Solid knowledge of corporate financing and cash management solutions.
- Strong financial analysis skills (balance sheets, ratios, business models).
- Good understanding of Corporate Finance and DCM products.
- Familiarity with banking legal documentation (ideally LMA standards).
- Strong understanding of the Luxembourg regulatory and tax environment.

**Network & mindset**:

- Active network of decision-makers, advisors and corporate leaders.
- Strong commercial drive combined with a high level of credibility.
- Field-oriented, relationship-driven, results-focused.

**Languages**:

- Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
- German and/or Luxembourgish are strong assets.
