**Lead Teacher role (2-year post)**
**Job Purpose**
- To model best practice within & across a milepost
- To be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of classes and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities
- To promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy.
**You will have**
- **Teaching Qualification - essential**:
- A proven record of good/outstanding teaching
- Experience of teaching the English National Curriculum for England and Wales
- Experience of modelling best practice
- An internationally minded outlook
- A creative approach to teaching
- Evidence of high student progress and attainment
- Proactive and willing to take part in extracurricular activities and events
- A strong team player
- Evidence of supporting colleagues or leading a team
