Our Technology teams build and deploy software products for a wide range of financial market clients with a primary focus on the fund data value chain. Our agile teams come together as global solution providers using the latest tools and innovative techniques:

- We are a cloud first solution provider working with Azure and other cloud platforms
- We combine product experts with our UX, development and QA teams to deliver features roadmaps for our products
- We are adopting DevOps models across all our teams and have invested in pipeline architectures for seamless deployment strategies
- Our infrastructure engineers support our development teams with advanced IaC frameworks to provide scale, monitoring and support for our resilience patterns
- We develop API families for our product to aid greater integration with our clients and partners

**About the role**

As a **Full-Stack Developer **you will join the Asset Management Services Luxembourg department developing distributed systems that power registration services for Asset Managers.

Our main technology stack is based on JAVA in the backend and REACT in the Frontend hosted on the Azure cloud and backed by data stored in both structured (SQL,) or non-structured (Mongodb, Cosmos DB, Blob...) storages. Cloud native design principles as well as the DevOps culture are the fundament of our success. Common frontend frameworks based on TypeScript are used to build the user interfaces. We work as a decentralized DevOps unit in the Scrum paradigm, and you will be expected to work on the full set of tasks: from the refinement and design to the implementation of the frontend, backend, and storage solutions and finally the deployment process.

**Your key responsibilities as a Full-Stack Software Developer will be**:

- Analysis: Participate in the drafting of detailed functional specifications; write detailed technical designs; ensure in-depth knowledge sharing of the software and platforms used.
- Architecture: liaise with the Architect Solution or Enterprise Architects, and drive discussions with them to implement the new technological components within the projects, share with them the difficulties encountered and look for the best project solution (costs, deadlines, risk), propose solutions/ tools to help the development team.
- Development: drive the development of IT solutions; comply with the standards of current developments, drive discussions in a sufficient and relevant manner on the developed sources; propose recommendations and solutions to meet the business needs.
- Testing activities: perform IT unit tests and load/performance tests.
- Support activities: provide level 2 maintenance after production.

**To join us as a Full-Stack Developer you will need the following experience and skills**:

- Excellent English and French speaking/writing
- At least 3+ years of experience and expertise knowledge of HTML5, ReactJS, CSS, XML, Json
- At least 3+ years of experience with API Rest (OpenAPI), webservices, microservices, JAVA
- Very good knowledge of Spring
- At least 2+ years of experience with databases: MS SQL Server, MongoDb
- Previous experience with: Azure DevOps, Kubernetes
- Strong programming skills in your language of choice (not necessarily ours) and a proven record of accomplishment of successfully completed projects.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban,...), you have been on teams that practice Agile, and you understand why it is beneficial for the team.
- Prior experience developing software solutions for companies and/or end users. You have built features and fixed bugs for a commercial product offering before.
- Self-motivating, self-directing, and a great communicator (written and oral). You thrive in an environment that grants you a lot of autonomy to explore creative solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills. You excel at analyzing and solving problems using technology.

**We like to see (but not required)**:

- Experience working with teams that are distributed geographically.
- Knowledge of Linux, Tomcat
- Experience in interacting with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders (Product Managers, Designers, UX Researchers, Product Marketing, etc).
- Experience mentoring less-experienced developers. You know how to build skills and teach others in an empathetic and kind way. Less experienced may include junior developers, senior developers less experienced in the technology at hand or a developer less experienced within the sub-module you recently spend a lot of development time on.
