**Main mission**

The Valuation consultant will provide clients with assistance in the valuation and provisioning processes of Bank’s portfolios. The main target clientele will be European Financial Institutions, to perform the Valuations and Calibrations of the Venture Debt and Equity investments and valuations of Funds and specific provisions of Loan-Graded operations.

**Main responsibilities**
- Assist colleagues in ensuring consistency in Valuations, Calibrations and Specific Provisions by performing review of the underlying documentation, technically assisting, testing, inputting, and challenging underlying models’ assumptions.
- Performing valuation and specific provisioning procedures and controls.
- Support your team in resolving complex valuation matters by proposing and implementing relevant solutions.
- Analyse financial statements and prospective financial information and update financial models used for the purpose of valuation or provisioning exercise.
- Supporting your team in timely collection of information and data such as financial statements, market data, valuation research, earnings reports, contracts, operational reports and any other data or information required to prepare / update companies’ or funds valuations and specific provisions.
- Contribute to portfolio analysis, management information and approval of Provisions and Valuations and on occasion to related performance and risk reporting.

**Main requirements**
- 1-5 years of professional experience in valuation of equity (private equity and/or venture capital) and/or debt instruments;
- Specific experience in valuation projects for venture capital equity instruments in line with IPEV or equivalent guidelines, provisioning (in line with IFRS 9) of a debt instrument, provisioning of distressed assets or exposure to projects or tasks requiring the review of fund manager reports;
- Post-graduate degree in finance, accounting, economics and/or business;
- Holding or evidence of currently undertaking a relevant professional qualification (CFA, ACCA, CAIA or any equivalent valuation certification);
- Demonstrated financial modelling skills;
- Good written and oral communication in English and French, any other language is considered an asset;
- Strong analytical and organisational (management of priorities and deadlines) skills;
- Good project management skills;
- Team player, rigorous and autonomous;
- Results-oriented, meticulous with a keen eye for details and a problem-solving attitude.
