Description Apex Group is currently looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to support our growing operations. This full-time Manager - Fund Accounting role is based in Luxembourg, and it comes with the chance to join an inclusive and collaborative team. As a Manager - Fund Accounting, you will manage a team that deals with the general accountancy of legal entities/funds, processing and booking invoices, execution of payments, management of accounts receivables and accounts payables, reconciliation of balances, fixed assets and miscellaneous bookings. In this Fund Accounting Management role, you can expect to: - Monitor the team's performance against applicable goals and business targets - Contribute to the constant evolvement and improvement of the existing system infrastructure and operational framework and procedures - Oversee the intercompany reconciliation and consolidation process, where applicable - Coordinate the preparation and filing of financial statements (balance sheet, P&L and notes) - Coordinate the financial and reporting process - Keep abreast of accounting standards (LuxGaap, IFRS) - Coordinate the preparation of tax declarations (VAT, CIT, NWT, WHT) in collaboration with the tax advisor - Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors - Keep in contact with local authorities to ensure regulatory compliance - Participate in the quarterly reporting process to the Company´s investors - Follow-up on the cash management process. - A degree from a business school in Economics or Accounting/Finance or equivalent educational background - Professional accountancy qualification, or part-qualified “ACCA”, “Bilanzbuchhalter” or equivalent required - Strong knowledge in Lux GAAP and IFRS - At least 5 years’ work experience in the field of Finance/Accounting in the finance sector - Experience in accounting, including consolidation/controlling of alternative investment vehicles like real estate, direct lending, infrastructure or private equity (Soparfis, SICARs, SCSp, Securitization vehicles) - 3 - 5 years’ experience in managing a team.
