We are lookin for our Supply Chain department and Operations Planner:
**Responsibilities**
- Define a Sales and Operations Plan (Demand Plan and Operations/Supply plan) that is optimal for the segment (EFP) following the guidance of top management, and based on a solid knowledge of the main planning constraints at cluster level (capacities, production line specificities, storage constraints, stock reference levels, logístical constraints,). Elaborate on balancing solutions and transversal optimization.
- Steer the Tactical Planning process in the clusters in line with the EFP Sales and Operations Planning framework. Communicate top management orientations to Tactical planners and ensure the proper implementation in the cluster plans. Collaborate with the clusters' Tactical Planners to ensure full alignment between the central S&OP and the cluster's TP. Challenge the key assumptions on which the plan is based. Ensure high quality and reliable plans.
- Watch over the commercial demand evolution in close collaboration with the Demand Planning team, analyze the impact on the supply plan, propose balancing solutions.
- Follow up key performance indicators (“Control Tower” for S&OP/DP processes), to guarantee optimal steering of the planning and execution processes.
- Manage specific improvement projects related to Sales and Operations Planning (Operations Planning and Demand Planning), within the framework of SC Transformation, and contribute to other improvement initiatives within SC/S&OP in general.
- Support the elaboration of S&OP planning scenarios at central level.

**Applicant Attributes**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain management
- Languages: English
- Knowledge of the steel production processes and products, production flows.
- Knowledge of and interest in Supply Chain processes.
- Knowledge of production planning processes (ideally with experience in the Tactical Planning domain).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, management of IT systems. Ability to get acquainted with new (planning) tools within a short time frame.
- Conceptual thinking ability.
- Capacity to deal with multiple inputs and conflicting objectives, ability to set priorities, to define an appropriate ranking of objectives depending on their impact on the overall result. Capability to perform a solid analysis of a complex production plan, understand relationships between entities. Ability to draw the right conclusions, propose solutions and support/make decisions.
- Ability to distinguish between major and minor issues, to bring key messages and give a synthetic view on the plan.
- Team worker with good communication skills.
- Ability to take initiatives.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a structured way.
- Strong in data analysis.
