The Shipping / Receiving / Stockroom Team Leader plays a vital role in managing logistics and inventory, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound operations while maintaining an organized stockroom. This position demands strong leadership, guiding a dynamic team to optimize workflows and maintain precision in material handling.

Beyond daily operations, the Team Leader is responsible for monitoring performance metrics, compiling insightful reports, and providing senior management with key data to drive efficiency and strategic decisions. Additionally, the role requires close coordination with logistics, global supply chain, and assembly teams, aligning operational processes with business goals and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Shipping, Receiving, and Stockroom team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control, maintaining stockroom organization and implementing best practices for stock management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout shipping and receiving processes.
- Manage external warehouse storage within the Transalliance facility, ensuring smooth information flow and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts to verify stock levels, ensuring BAAN system data aligns with actual inventory quantities.
- Work closely with the Master Scheduling Team to synchronize inbound and outbound shipments with production and business demands.
- Make proactive decisions to prevent delays and optimize logistics operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by managing non-conformance cases (NCs) and corrective actions (CCs) to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Maintain data integrity, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting to support business strategy and planning.
- Track operational performance using live metrics, generating reports that provide valuable insights for senior management.
- Oversee preventive maintenance of stockroom equipment to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous leadership experience is highly beneficial.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination.
- Exceptional prioritization skills, optimizing tasks for maximum operational efficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems (familiarity with BAAN is a strong asset)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and present performance metrics effectively.
- Problem-solving approach with a proactive mindset toward logístical challenges.
- Self-motivated, with a high level of integrity and a strong team-oriented attitude.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills considered an advantage.
