**Summary**:
A highly ambitious, fully independent financial services firm with exponential growth has teamed up with Funds Talent in search of an Accounting Manager for their Fund Accounting team in Luxembourg.

As an Accounting Manager, you will be supporting one of their largest Private Debt clients following and executing their ideas and ambitions - from start to finish. You’ll be playing a key role in the day-to-day management of the team while providing strategic insight and attending board meetings.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing a team of Fund Accounting professionals.
- Coordination and preparation and review of regulatory and statutory reporting to a
number of global regulators.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting, ensuring that current accounting standards (Lux GAAP, IFRS) and best practice
principles are applied.
- Managing the workflows on an on-going basis to ensure work is completed on a
timely basis.
- Perform internal audit of compliance, investors’ due diligence and KYC.
- Assisting the Management Team with fund launches, essential project work and
internal administration when required and where appropriate.

**Role Requirements**:

- Degree in Accounting or relevant Finance discipline.
- 5 - 7 years of accounting experience within a corporate service provider, solid and
pragmatic accounting skills and technical accounting knowledge (Lux GAAP,
knowledge of IFRS is a pre).
- Ability to train and manager a team of fund accountants.
- Working knowledge of quality control practices for document review.
- Experience accomplishing third-party audit requirements for financial reporting.
- Stakeholder management (clients, senior stakeholders, customers).
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
