Job Description Summary: PayPal Corporate Tax has an exciting opportunity for a Manager - EMEA Tax, responsible for providing support for all tax matters related to PayPal’s business operations in EMEA. You will be responsible for supervising the local compliance and income tax provision processes, as well support planning, implementation, and defense of initiatives and transactions.
**Job Description**:
**Your day to day**:
- Assist Director of EMEA Tax in providing tax support to PayPal’s EMEA business across all initiatives, transactions, product roll-outs and commercial arrangements
- Support EMEA tax planning and strategy
- Support EMEA tax controversy, including researching issues under audit, drafting responses to requested information and preparing models reflecting potential financial impacts
- Collaborate cross functionally within Global Tax Department to determine end-to-end tax impact of global initiatives
- Coordinate the preparation of income tax returns with local tax providers and review returns
- Coordinate local deliverables to U.S. tax consolidation team
This is a highly visible position with direct contact with PayPal management and business leaders.
**Experience**
- Ideally 7 - 9 years of relevant experience pertaining to Corporate Tax function within a multinational setup is highly desired
- Experience in acquisition and integration planning preferred
- Self-motivated with proven track of project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Critical thinker, with the ability to work across regions and functions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex tax issues to non-tax audiences
- Proficiency with MS Office, in particular, Power Point and Excel
