We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as the Digital Innovation Hub Project Officer, focusing on the manufacturing sector in Luxembourg. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry and playing a pivotal role in the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub project. You will work closely with industry stakeholders, innovation agencies, and project partners to deliver impactful outcomes and support the growth of Industry 4.0 initiatives within the manufacturing sector. **Your Role...** - Act as the primary point of contact for the Luxembourg Digital Innovation Hub project, leading the work package to deliver light and full DMA (Digital Maturity Assessment) for manufacturing companies - Contribute to the "test before invest" activities, conducting assessments and evaluations related to Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions, with a specific focus on the Luxembourg manufacturing sector - Build strong relationships and establish credibility with key stakeholders in the manufacturing sector, including manufacturing companies and innovation agencies such as Luxinnovation - Collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to drive the digital transformation of the manufacturing sector, identifying opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and productivity improvement - Manage and contribute to the production of periodic and ad hoc reports, presentations, and publications, providing updates on project progress and delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to external stakeholders - Contribute to the work packages related to skills assessment, identifying skill gaps and training needs within the Luxembourg manufacturing industry, and providing support for innovation initiatives **What we expect from you** - A master or equivalent is mandatory; a PhD in one of the scientific disciplines of the University is an asset - Proven experience in project management, preferably in the context of digital transformation or innovation projects within the manufacturing sector - Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, trends, and best practices - Deep knowledge of the Luxembourg research, manufacturing and innovation ecosystem is essential - Knowledge of European context for the digital transformation through research and innovation - Ability to analyze the maturity of manufacturing companies and suggest short - and long-term digital transition roadmap - Analytical mindset and ability to contribute to data-driven decision-making processes - Team-oriented and comfortable in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment - Excellent command of English and conversational skills in French are essential **In Short...** - Contract Type: Befristeter Vertrag 23 Monat - Work Hours: Full Time 40.0 Stunden pro Woche - Location: Kirchberg and Belval - Internal Title: Project officer - Job Reference: UOL05851 **How to apply...** Applications should include: - Curriculum Vitae - Cover letter The University of Luxembourg embraces inclusion and diversity as key values.
