ArcelorMittal Corporate IT - MES CoE (Center of Excellence) - is the IS/IT supporting entire ArcelorMittal business, in EUROPE and all its segments and countries. This organization supports the MES strategy, project and operational support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in Steel business along the Steel production chain.
With the aim of supporting our business to deploy latest commercial solutions to bring harmonization and State of the Art technology inside production environment.
For the roll out of a commercial MES Product line into an existing heterogeneous IT Landscape an **MES Financial Consultant **is required. The rollout will be executed in waves in several projects, cross world wide locations, first starting in EUROPE.
This role is part of ArcelorMittal Corporate CoE MES Organization, based in Europe and is expected to work in MES Projects in Europe primary, with a 30% business travel included.
**Objectives**
- Understand the logical steel business processes and the impact of the business and IT cost.
- As Consultant to support business and MES Teams to think in benefits and optimizations. This covers steel business processes and operations including steel products and their balance sheet effect.
- Reuse MES experiences to build new ideas for cost improvements or to communicate and translate experiences from one to the next initiative.
- Support of MES projects to pass all needed approval steps. Securing a good visibility by a regular financial follow-up of budget, cost and KPI’s.
- Supporting the inner CoE MES Team organization in cost, budget, tracking needs and be the financial trainer for the own team.
- Differences in financial practices or maturity are a driver to work cross different financial teams.
**Mandatory**
**Qualification**
- A minimum 3 years of professional experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Ideally working in a financial department to understand all cost-types in the steel business.
- English, able communicate and moderate different levels of internal customers.
- Project Management, as part of the project team
- Office Tools like Excel, SAP and Reporting tools (like Power BI)
- Excellence Communication skills for inner project teams and stakeholders like business teams.
- Open communication and keen to show red flags
- Experience of working effectively to demanding deadlines, prioritizing own workload with mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and an understanding of communication approaches, including tailoring messages to suit the audience, along with the ability to form constructive relationships with people at all levels within the organization
- A strong understanding of IT project and programs life cycles
