INTRODUCTION
This Statement of Work covers the provisioning of SAP Basis consultancy services to NSPA.
The NSPA SAP Basis Team is composed of internal staff members complemented by contractor staff, for delivering mission-critical services to the agency in supporting the day-to-day of the NSPA SAP landscape. The NSPA SAP landscape consists of several SAP products, installed on several SAP systems. The SAP systems are running on HP-UX or Windows servers, and use one of the following database management systems: SAP HANA, SAP ASE (Sybase) or Microsoft SQL Server. The SAP systems need regular maintenance in order to ensure the proper functioning, adequate performance and availability of the services they offer.
SCOPE
OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this project is to provide Consultancy Services, in order for the IS Division to be able to react rather quickly to upcoming requirements in the various areas involved in the Basis Administration, operation and Management of the NSPA SAP Installation (including the SAP IT Infrastructure).
EDUCATION
- University Degree in the relevant field from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of Education and Experience.

EXPERIENCE
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience as a Senior SAP Basis Architect / Analyst;
Minimum four (4) years of Experience in at least 3 of the following areas:

- Experience in providing SAP Basis consultancy services for a company having business processes and activities similar to NSPA’s ones.
- Good PC Skills - Usage as well as configuration and familiarity of Windows 10.
- Strong networking fundamentals (LAN, routers, DHCP, DNS, TCP-IP, WAN).
- Implementation of System Disaster recovery plans.
- The Senior SAP Basis Architect/Analyst should have worked for some time for a company that is a “development partner” of SAP (Remark: These are companies that implement solutions for SAP, as opposed to LOGO partners who are only recognized as being capable of implementing SAP. The development partners possess more internal knowledge of the SAP system due to their close contact to internal SAP development staff, leading to more efficient implementation of solutions).
- Administration of SAP HANA databases.

**SAP Installation and Upgrade**:

- Experience must include at least ten cutovers into production of mid
- to large sized SAP projects where the person has worked on the project several months before production date up to at least one to two months after production date.
- The Senior SAP Basis Architect/Analyst must have executed at least ten SAP upgrades in homogeneous or heterogeneous environments.

SOW REQUIREMENTS
SAP and SAP Basis Experience
- Exhaustive SAP Basis administration and monitoring, including SSO configuration, SAP transports, SAP security aspects,
- Connection of SAP to the SAP Support Portal, including WAN aspects, VPN aspects and SAPROUTER configuration.
- Design of system architectures in 2-tier and 3-tier client-server environment.
- Differentiation of client-dependent and client-independent parameter settings.
- Mastering Internal SAP system parameters, which control performance, reliability, security and availability of the entire system.
- SAP Authorization system in a complex organization with fine granulated responsibilities in the different organizations.
- SAP system architecture development.
- IT infrastructure Implementation wrt. SAP problematic

DBMS [Data Base Management System] Experienced
- Management and Implementation of large SAP ASE (Sybase) and HANA DBMS for SAP environment.
- Proven experience with upgrading and patching of SAP HANA and SAP ASE databases.
- Setup of HANA system replication and usage of HPE ServiceGuard to switch HANA database clusters on Linux.
- Copy of entire SAP databases from one environment to another environment, and especially from a HP-UX based installation to a Windows based installation. This of course includes all surrounding activities such as planning of changes of size and configuration of target system as well as its implementation and installation.
- “Backup/Restore” - Restore a previously backed-up HANA/ASE database to another computer/target SAP system (with following adjustments of control-files of the target system, as target system is not identical with source system).
- SAP on SAP ASE (Sybase) and HANA DBMS with special attention to performance, preventive monitoring and maintenance.

Infrastructure Experience
- Implementation of high availability solutions in an SAP environment.
- Management of system capacity - monitoring, reporting and implementing recommendations, for SAP-related installation and infrastructure, especially in a Windows (WMWare) environment.
- Strong System Management experience in general.

General Experience
- Formal presentation to customer audience or demonstrating product solutions.
- Proven project management and team leader
