Fund Accounting Supervisor

Citi enables clients to achieve their strategic financial objectives by providing them with cutting-edge ideas, best-in-class products and solutions, and unparalleled access to capital and liquidity. **Team/Function Overview** Citibank Europe plc Luxembourg Branch is well-positioned for significant growth over the next few years and are expanding the Fund Accounting team to service a very wide array of clients, particularly UCITS funds or similar but also from the Alternatives / Private Equity sector. **Role / Position Overview** The Fund Accounting Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of employees, leading a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of activities associated with Net Asset Valuations (NAVs). **Key Responsibilities**: - Assisting on team management of fund accountant to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) - Coordinating the day to day operations in partnership with all onshore and offshore locations such as transfer agency, pricing, corporate action. - Supervising daily work flow, lead process improvements coordinate workflow with related departments and recommend new work procedures - Supporting NAV preparation in accordance with client requirements as well as implement incremental business and review NAV for unit trusts and investment funds ensuring accuracy of valuation reports - Resolving client queries and interact with Fund Managers and other service providers/counterparts to ensure successful service delivery with support from the manager - Handling moderately complex/exceptional/unusual issues - Ensuring timeliness of client service deliverables in accordance with agreed deadlines while promptly replying to accounting queries from investment sites and fund sponsor (portfolio manager, auditors and back-office) **Qualifications**: - Previous relevant experience in fund, supervisory experience - Knowledge and experience of funds services and its process; performance fees, hedging, dividend distribution, pooling, derivatives, swing pricing - Technical tools : Excel, Multifonds and pControl being an advantage - Effective verbal and written skills in English - Good communication skills and client relationship - Strong client focus with an ability to evaluate needs and develop solutions - Proven ability to support the introduction of complex change in a challenging environment - Demonstrate self-development e.g. coaching/mentoring LI-CO1 - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Transaction Services - **Job Family**: Fund Accounting - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
