Key job responsibilities
- Monitor and enhance the fleet performance and support internal and external teams to manage the network disruptions arising from aircraft technical defects
- Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in AIR organization
- Take a big-picture approach in fleet performance analysis of AIR operations, driving improvements across a range of cross-functional teams
- Work alongside AIR senior leadership to establish and prioritize improvement programs, seeing them through from start to finish
- Participate in audits/visits to the maintenance stations and influence the partners to maintain highest standards

A day in the life
As a Senior Programme Manager, you’ll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes.
You will communicate with internal stakeholders (across Amazon Air, from AIR Operations teams managing 3P Air gateways to Finance and Legal teams) and Amazon Air carrier partners. You will monitor and report fleet performance and work with internal and external teams to drive improvements and track initiatives.

About the team
The FAST technical operations team will assure meticulous technical aircraft oversight to deliver for AIR’s customers with technology innovations and cost-effective solutions. The team maintains an extreme focus on providing highly reliable aircraft. The focus is critical to Amazon Air's network schedule and customers. The team works cross-functionally and externally to surface and solve for complex problems and deliver solutions. The Fleet Performance PM partners with the team and strives to improve the fleet performance.
