SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT - PRIVATE EQUITY & REAL ESTATE

LOCATION: LEUDELANGE, LUXEMBOURG

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

You’ll be working in the Alternative Funds - NAV Calculation team within the Fund Administration department in Luxembourg. Our team is in charge of the accuracy of the net asset value calculations and is responsible of all workflows related to these funds. We are working in close collaboration with external clients and third parties to service Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure products.

MAIN DUTIES
- Ensure timely and accurate calculation of the Net Asset Value of the funds assigned
- Posting accounting entries and performing reconciliations
- Act as main point of contact for your client portfolio, internal teams, and fund auditors
- Oversee the unaudited financial statements and annual reports of administered entities
- Provide assistance to complex NAV queries and problems
- Support management & team on various tasks and projects
- Making recommendations to improve processes for a more efficient service
- Year-end closings (control and review of accounts, closing of accounts)
- Participation in fund events (merger, liquidation and similar events)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

You have:

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Fund Accounting, with exposure to Private Equity and/or Real Estate being considered a plus but not essential
- An understanding of Lux GAAP and accounting principles
- Strong technical, analytical skills
- A good command of Microsoft Excel
- The ability to stay on track, even when dealing with tight deadlines
- Good team work and verbal and written communication skills

- Proactive, with strong interpersonal skills (and this noticeable even when under pressure)
- Capable of understanding client needs and translating them into solutions
- Fluency in English is required
