What you will be responsible for:
THE ROLE

The individual will be conducting due diligence (initial, periodic and ongoing), risk assessments and monitoring financial intermediaries distributing MFS funds and other delegates. The aim is to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, compliance and risk management standards and ensure that all internal and external stakeholders understand and contribute to reaching organizational goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO- Control and contribute to enhance and develop new processes on oversight (due diligence and monitoring) of delegated activities, including distributors, in line with CSSF Circular 18/698.- Conduct initial due diligence and on-going monitoring on delegates, including distributors. Ensure due diligence questionnaires are complete and accurate as per standards, including relevant KYD.- Design, preparation and/or review of Key Performance Indicators.- Liaise with delegates and internal stakeholders to follow-up on status and performance of delegated activities and perform ongoing monitoring on the delegated functions. Draft concise and high-quality due diligence memos summarizing findings and action plans relating to delegates (e.g. Portfolio Managers and Distributors, Central Administration and Transfer Agents, Investment Advisors and other service providers).- Contribute to internal reporting (e.g., to Management and Board).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:
- University degree in Finance, or training/experience deemed equivalent.- 2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in intermediary onboarding and/or oversight of delegates.- Comprehensive experience in fund investment and distribution activities for UCITS.- Strong interpersonal skills.- Accurate and strong attention to details.- Team player with strong organizational and good communication skills.

Preferred:
- Experience with research tools such as Dow Jones or World Check.- Experience in Luxembourg based Management Company or Luxembourg based bank/financial services company- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations for areas of Luxembourg's regulations and CSSF Circulars.- Fluent, both written and orally, in English. French or Spanish would be an asset.
