At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. If you'd like to help us build the best e-commerce experience and drive growth for our Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) services, this is your chance to make history.
As a Senior Product Manager for FBA, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a comprehensive growth strategy, with a strong focus on owning the unique EU nuances across multiple FBA growth products. You will re-invent the best-in-class e-commerce experience for our sellers by building new mechanisms to improve their FBA experience.
As a self-starter, you'll be comfortable with ambiguity and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. Your background should include strong product management experience, a passion for working on behalf of customers, and a proven track record of on-time delivery of cross-functional projects. You should demonstrate the ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively influence multiple stakeholders.
If you're excited about defining the strategy and autonomously driving product improvements for our FBA growth initiatives, with a particular focus on the European market, we want to hear from you.
Key job responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for FBA growth initiatives, focusing on understanding and addressing the unique needs and nuances of the UK and European markets. Translate anecdotal and/or data insights into actionable product improvements that enhance the experience for EU-based sellers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners to influence the development of new FBA features tailored to the requirements of EU sellers, driving growth.
- Establish clear product goals, KPIs, and success metrics, building consensus across teams. Emphasize EU-relevant performance indicators.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle for FBA growth products, from ideation to iteration, addressing the unique needs of our EU-based sellers.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment to make data-driven decisions. Effectively communicate product plans and progress, highlighting EU-specific insights.
- Continuously monitor EU market performance, identify optimization opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives to unlock FBA growth potential for our EU sellers.
- Propose innovative product ideas, design and run EU-focused pilots, scaling successful concepts to deliver exceptional experiences.
- MBA or other advanced degree, with a focus on business, technology, or a related field.
- Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, demonstrating resilience and the capacity to drive progress in the face of uncertainty.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools; able to prioritize complex deliverables, run large meetings with business leaders, and translate insights into actionable product plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues at hand, dive deep to the root cause, identify systematic gaps, support findings with analytical data, and devise comprehensive solutions.
- Innovative mindset, with a passion for challenging the status quo and reinventing products and experiences on behalf of our EU-based sellers and customers.
- Experience working in the e-commerce or retail technology space, with a deep understanding of the seller and customer needs in the FBA ecosystem.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies, agile practices, and familiarity with AWS technologies and tools.
