The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.
Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.
**Your role**:
- Conduct wet-lab research in melanoma, including the use of 3D models
- Document performed experiments in an electronic lab book to ensure reproducibility
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific reports and publications
- Participate and present obtained data in meetings
- Contribute to general tasks in the laboratory
**Your profile**:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Biological Sciences or related discipline
- Previous professional experience as a research technician
- Experience in cell culture techniques, if possible, in 3D cell culture models (organoids, spheroids)
- Experience in molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, FACS analysis, Western blotting, imaging techniques are considered an advantage.
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English is required; knowledge in German or French is an asset
