Overview

Neuberger Berman is looking for a Fund controller to take responsibility for the fund accounting and operations of a number of Luxembourg funds and supporting the launch of a new product. The person will report to Chief Financial Officer and Conducting Officer Finance and Valuation.

Responsibilities:

- Governance, Control and new fund strategies_

Active participation to new fund launch and set up of new strategies

Ownership of cash and capital management

Ensure all regulatory and statutory financial submissions are completed appropriately and on time

Enhance the processes and procedures, working with the wider finance and non finance teams.
- Operational Accounting_

Responsibility for managing the fund operational processes (capital call/distribution/etc)

Liquidity management

Ensure fund financial information is communicated appropriately to the outsourced providers, quarterly valuations, recoverable from funds, etc.

Review of key balance sheet accounts

Preparation of interim and annual financial statements

Production of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting

Requirements:
Fluent in English

Qualified accountant, fund accounting experience (preferable 8-10 years post qualifications)

Confident, with the ability to deal with multiple internal clients

Highly organized, adherence to internal deadlines and appropriate escalation any issues

Self-starter, able to work independently whilst ensuring engagement with the wider finance team

Advanced excel skills
