**Mission**:
Digital & IT Data is deploying solutions to business stakeholders for topics related to Data, ensuring data sets design for reporting concerns, reporting solutions / support and data science models.

The Product Owner / Business Owner manages the iterative development of a product and guarantee that it will perfectly meet the expectations of the business.

**This position is open in Luxembourg, Dunkerque (Hauts-de-France, France), Gent (Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium).
**Responsibilities**:

- Define and design a digital product/service:

- Support business stakeholders in defining their needs (“Business Workshops”).
- Translate business needs into transformation projects and involve business stakeholders throughout the project.
- Define the structure of the backlog and adapt it if necessary during the product life cycle in order to have a formalized reference
- Write and schedule/prioritize user stories (simple and understandable description of user needs)
- Lead project progress meetings with the business, and participate in scrum “ceremonies” organized by the scrum master
- Organize functional recipes with users to validate deliveries in case this is not already taken care of by a Scrum Master
- Maximize the value of the product resulting from the work of the production teams
- Prioritize objectives based on needs expressed by users, value provided and feasibility (Backlog management)
- Communicate to the business the progress of the product creationEnsure that the product complies with the rules in force in terms of data protection (GDPR)

The Product Owner / Business Owner will be interacting with:

- IT stakeholders (IT management committee, IT leaders, architects, functional analysts, etc.) to communicate at all stages of the project and ensure the adequacy between deliverables and needs
- Internal or external production team, within the framework of the bodies defined by the chosen methodology
- Solution Providers and External Service Providers (traditional, subcontractors), within the framework of the bodies defined by the chosen methodology
- Peers, to exchange good practicesWhere applicable with the Group, to negotiate functional developments of products supported by solution providers managed by the Group (e.g. SAP)

**Minimum applicant attribute**:

- Min. 5 years experience
- Background in IT, Engineering, Finance or Operations management.
- In-depth knowledge of “Agile” methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of backlog management tools
- Excellent communication skills, understanding of steel industry.
- Experience in data management is a must.
- Project and change management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and listening skills.
- Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset and creativity to seek, encourage innovation.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset and real sense of emergency.Fluent in English. Any other European language is appreciated.
