Valuation & Accounting Oversight Manager

**Job Description**:
Our client, an AIFM, seeks an experienced valuation and accounting manager to perform an oversight function for their alternative funds.
You will perform oversight for the valuation of investments and review the accounting and net asset valuation (NAV) of the funds
They provide a well-structured and professional working environment with a commitment to excellence. You will have an autonomous role whilst being surrounded by supportive and team focused colleagues.
Responsibilities include:
- Review valuation information provided by valuation teams in various locations and conduct regular meetings with these teams
- Provide investment valuation analysis for presentation to senior stakeholders, plus complete monthly/quarterly reporting requirements
- Build a relationship with service providers that is partnership focused
- Review the NAVs of the alternative investments funds
- Assist with new fund onboarding
- Collaborate with colleagues in various locations, whilst assisting with process enhancements relating to valuation of assets/funds and the NAV process
- University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
- Proven experience working with alternative funds, ideally real estate, private equity and hedge fund products
- Be motivated and demonstrate your interest in the position - you will be offered the chance to advance your career in a challenging role and at a top rated employer
- You will need to have strong technical accounting skills with exposure to IFRS
