BIL Manage Invest (BMI) is a market-leading independent management company domiciled in Luxembourg, providing a one-stop regulatory solution for global investment managers. **Your next challenge:
- As a member of the Investment Committee of BMI, the IFS is responsible for the legal review of all investments in Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Debt. The IFS performs depth investment analysis, deal structuring, evaluate proposed deal terms, the legal risk assessments and deal post-closing documentation review.
- The IFS is part of the Investment management team and works closely with the portfolio managers in order execute in the best interest of the fund and of BMI all investments in alternative assets.
- Liaise with legal counsel and other departments to complete and document the investment pack. Being in charge of the Investment Committee Governance aspects (i.e. drafting of Investment Committee minutes, Power of Attorney, etc.)
- As a member of the Client Acceptance Committee of BMI, the IFS is responsible for the validation of the client structuring in close collaboration with the Legal Department.
- The IFS supports the commercial development of BMI by providing internal advice for client structuring. The IFS is deeply involved in the business development of BMI in order to find innovative fund structuring solution adapted to the client needs.
- Review and challenge the legal & structuring risk of all alternative investments operated by the funds managed by BMI.
- Support the commercial development of BMI by helping clients on fund structuring.
**Your skills:
- Master's degree in Legal, finance / economics or similar fields
- Good understanding of the Luxembourg fund industry and AIFM & UCITS regulations;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Fluent in French and English. Any additional language will be considered as an asset.
- Ability to be autonomous and rigorous;
- Flexibility in working on multiple tasks;
- Willingness to work in a dynamic, international and entrepreneurial environment;
- Achievement-driven: showing determination to meet goals;
