Underwriting Analyst

Generali Employee Benefits (GEB) is focusing on for the employee benefits business of the Generali Group. The GEB Network, composed of more than 100 local insurance companies, is one of the leading partners in the international employee benefits management field, servicing more than 1,500 international corporate customers.

Main Accountabilities
- Analyse and approve quotations and pricing referrals within the GEB Underwriting referral framework,
- Actively support the implementation of the Underwriting framework and guidelines with selected network partners and enhance the coordination of local portfolios renewal activities,
- Support the assigned GEB Regional Office as far as all the underwriting and technical topics are concerned,
- Foster the GEB underwriting excellence by coordinating a community of underwriters from the GEB Network local companies: create synergies and share the GEB Network underwriting philosophy and best practices,
- Contribute and actively support the transversal projects driven by the Insurance Area to foster technical excellence and to continuously enhance the Underwriting process steering,
- Implement the defined technical actions on specific portfolios and support portfolio management strategy,
- Contribute to the pricing excellence by developing and innovating in respect of pricing assumptions, methodology and pricing strategy

Your Profile
- 5 years of experience in pricing and underwriting of Group insurance (life, disability, accident and/ or medical lines of risk),
- Master degree in Insurance, Actuarial or Economics/Finance related fields,
- Technical mindset with experience in insurance quotation and risk analysis/assessment,
- Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic aspects of decision making,
- Curious, dynamic, proactive, not afraid to take ownership,
- Resilient with strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail,
- Team player with high appetite for transversal collaboration,
- Strong communication skills,
- Fluent in English, any other language would be considered an asset
