**YOUR ROLE**

Being part of the agriculture department, you will evolve on different projects. You will be in charge to guide decision-making in government agencies, international organizations, and research institutions.
- Collect and analyze agricultural economic accounts data, forecast trends in agricultural production, pricing, and international trade.
- Evaluate the economic feasibility of sustainable agricultural practices, climate change adaptation strategies, and technological innovations.
- Collaborate with national agencies, international organizations, agribusinesses, and research institutions to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Provide guidance to policymakers, farmers, and agribusinesses on best economic practices for improving agricultural productivity and profitability.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- **5 years of experience as economist in agriculture field in a national office of statistics is mandatory.**:

- 5+ years university degree ideally in Statistics, Mathematics or Economy is an asset.
- Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other additional languages is an asset.
- Good capacity to communicate with technical and no-technical persons.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
