**tasks in position
- Maintain accounting records for responsible Luxembourg legal entities
- Prepare quarterly or semi-annual financial statements and annual accounts in Luxembourg GAAP
- Prepare Luxembourg VAT and CIT returns
- Prepare necessary reports based on the financial reporting requirements with 3 rd parties
- Monitor responsible companies for potential issues and/or non-compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with Legal on the preparation of legal documents required for responsible companies
- Review legal documents prepared by Legal or external law firms for responsible entities
- Monitor cash balances of responsible companies and coordinate necessary cash movements with Cash Management
- Prepare and review waterfalls and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of cash moving through responsible companies
- Assist with external audits
- Review of quarterly investment income reports: analytical review of balance sheet and income statement items, analysis by entity, review of investment books
- Reconciliation of intercompany activities
- Currency revaluation and currency translation analysisHandle various ad-hoc projects and requests from other departments and offices (e.g. request for financial statements, user testing for system implementation)- **Requirements (Skills and Experiences)**
- Degree in accounting or in Finance (minimum BTS/Graduat) and has a first experience of a minimum of 3 years with international exposure
- Additional operational accounting experience is a strong asset
- Luxembourg GAAP knowledge is a must
- Experience in Luxembourg Tax and VAT preparation is required
- Experience in real estate accounting is a plus
- Fluency in English and French is required
- Advanced computer skills (MS Office tools)
- Knowledge of Oracle is a plus
- Autonomy and strong communication skills
- Capable of providing high quality work to very demanding internal clients
- Open, flexible, creative and pro-active
- Result oriented and looking for challenges
