**Job Description**:
We are recruiting a **Head of Accounting** for our finance team to supervise and manage the **global controlling function** of the business and to have overall responsibility for the **Group’s intercompany landscape and consolidation**. This person will closely cooperate with our **global finance operations** function.
- Develop, improve, and implement effective and harmonized **finance operations/accounting processes** Group-wide, as well as**, cooperating with tax, legal and financial planning & forecasting** teams for regular reporting inputs
- Have overall responsibility for the **general ledger of the Group entities** and ensure compliance with **statutory/regulatory requirements** and applicable accounting standards, across various jurisdictions
- Actively participate in the conversion and **implementation from Luxembourg GAAP to IFRS**:

- Manage **external audit processes** and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth planning, process and completion of the stand-alone audits and the Group’s consolidated audits
- Cross-departmentally **collaborate with stakeholders** of the finance processes, raise awareness and visibility of the finance department throughout Byborg.

**Qualifications**:
**We are looking for someone who has...**
- Experience in **accounting management is a must (10+ years minimum)** with previous **IPO experience** being a plus
- ** Qualified accountant** (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) in current standing
- ** Lux GAAP and IFRS** experience - preference to IFRS implementation experience
- Strong **indirect and direct tax knowledge**, including experience with transfer pricing mechanisms and processes a plus **Industry experience** (Live-streaming, Telecom, Payment Service) preferred
- Internal control experience (**SOX **or equivalent). Experience with **Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP** is a plus
