**Description**
- Preparing, reviewing, and electronically submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
- Acting as the primary contact for all VAT-related queries and liaising with external providers for annual VAT return preparation.
- Recording VAT transactions and ensuring reconciliation between VAT returns and the general ledger.
- Managing VAT reporting related to the company’s car leasing activities.
- Reviewing intercompany transaction reports within the MUFG group to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Participating in the monthly and annual financial closing processes for the Bank, its Irish branch, and the Management Company.
- Supporting the Head of Finance during statutory audits by providing required documentation to external auditors.
- Assisting the Head of Finance on ongoing financial and operational projects.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and monitoring of internal procedures.
- Advising the Head of the Accounting Section on accounting matters related to VAT and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
**Profile**
- Advanced knowledge of VAT regulations with at least 3 years of practical experience in Luxembourg VAT
- Good understanding of Luxembourg tax regulations and the banking industry
- Solid knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English; French is considered an asset
