One of the major player in the Alternative assets sphere is looking for an Assistant Vice President - Risk Management to strengthen the team in Luxembourg.

In this role as a Senior Risk Manager you will be involved in all types of Risks for a dedicated portfolio of funds (Hedge or Real Assets, depending on your expertise).

As they significantly growing and launching new funds (150 in 4 years), they are looking for 2 leaders, 1 for the Hedge funds team (3-4 people) and one for the Real Assets team (3-4 people).

You’ll work closely to other teams, briefing you on products, vision, and strategy.

You’ll join a team of 13 and report to the Conducting Officer Risk.

**Some of the duties include**:

- Ensure effective risk assessment, adequate oversight and report to right regulator;
- Draft risk procedures and policies;
- With a risk perspective, review the documents for AIFs;
- Monitor Risk;
- Collaborate with Compliance looking a compliance monitoring process and reporting regarding post trade investment;
- Assist with deal review process;
- Collect all documents and reports relevant for the Risk function;
- Assist with the preparation of presentations for committee and boards;
- Provide support on complex risk matters;
- Coordinate with internal and external teams for regulatory reporting and ensure the information is correct, accurate and complete (AIFMD related).

**Jobs requirements**
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar position;
- Fluent in English; French and German are a plus;
- Experience working with funds (AIF and/or hedge funds);
- Take initiatives, possesses great organizational skills;
