**About the role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the execution of the agreed Compliance plan within the agreed timeframes.
- Manage third party AML referrals i.e. queries, PEP/sanctions etc..
- Help to ensure that the Compliance Function remains on track with regulatory and group reporting obligations.
- Assist in ensuring that Monument Luxembourg S.A. remain in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in the management of internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Provide internal Compliance training as and when required.
- Work in close collaboration with the Business as and when required.
- Participate to the regulatory watch.
- Carry out administrative support activities e.g. maintaining compliance trackers, incident and regulatory logs.
- Assist in the update and maintenance of Compliance policies and procedures.
- Support Compliance involvement into acquisition projects, Compliance projects and other initiatives.
- Assist in the promotion of a positive compliance culture, committed to integrity, trust and ethical conduct.

**Role Requirements**:
**Hard skills**
- 2+ years working in a cross-border insurance company.
- Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Financing of Terrorism and Financial Crime legislation and risk
- Sound level of regulatory compliance experience
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Power-point).

**Soft skills**
- Fluent in English (spoken, written, understanding), any other languages such as French, Italian, Spanish or German is considered as an asset.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
- Objective, analytical and lateral thinker with an eye for detail.
- Attitude for working in team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder requests with own workloads.
- Strong report writing competencies with the ability to summarise effectively.
