Api Testing Specialist

**| Your challenges?**:

- Conduct comprehensive API testing to verify the functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand API specifications and requirements.
- Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for API testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for API testing using tools like Postman.
- Identify, document, and track defects, issues, and discrepancies in the APIs.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve API issues quickly.
- Monitor and analyze API performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in API testing.
- Document API testing processes, methodologies, and results for future reference.

**| What do we expect from you?**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an API Testing Specialist or similar role.
- Strong expertise in API testing, including manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency in API testing tools, particularly Postman.
- Familiarity with API specifications, such as Swagger and OpenAPI.
- Knowledge of HTTP protocols, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Experience with test automation and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in API testing or relevant software testing certifications is a plus.
