**Your role**

Do you have proven knowledge in information security risk and controls? Are you an analytical thinker with an investigative mindset?

We’re looking for an ambitious information security professional to:

- Identify and appropriately escalate potential data leakage events.
- Identify opportunities for control improvements to reduce false positives, automate, or adjust the rules to ensure they are correctly tuned to focus on potential incidents
- Articulate proposals for improvements to the Data Leakage Protection service lead
- Liaise with DLP technical teams for any technical issues
- Ensure compliance with internal UBS policies, processes and procedures
- Support process changes, documentation updates and process effectiveness where applicable

**Your team**

You’ll be working as part of the TISO (Technology Information Security Office) Data Confidentiality Protection Response team to help strengthen in-transit controls by identifying and analyzing potential data leakage or breach events. Our team is responsible for monitoring electronic information transmission using the tools implemented to accomplish this task.

As a business Ops Risk specialist within technology, you’ll play an important role in making sure we achieve both business and technology objectives.

**Your expertise**
- Ideally experience working for a global organization in one of the following areas: Information Security or Risk Management experience within the Financial Industry with a particular focus on Data Leakage controls is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of the financial industry, especially risks and controls in the information security, data protection context
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently to organize, manage and complete projects within tight deadlines
- Experience with programming languages a plus - python preferred.
- Interacts well across a within a global organization
- Support the Data Leakage Remediation Service with incident management and other (ad-hoc) tasks
