**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives for the automotive replacement business.
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of 50 sales professionals by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans.
- Leverage industry knowledge to make informed decisions and guide the company's strategic direction.
- Drive the achievement of revenue and profitability targets by effectively managing and growing key customer accounts and partnerships.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers within distributor networks, retail chains, and independent repair shops.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and strategic partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop tailored sales strategies and campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Identify areas for improvement, develop actionable insights, and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Product Line Management, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of efforts to meet customer demands, and market trends and product line coverage.
**EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years progressive sales leadership experience within the automotive replacement business.
- Proven experience in developing automotive replacement business across Europe. Experience in Africa is a strong preferential factor.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and managing sales teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Proven track record of developing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies that drive growth.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- 5 Direct reports, with ~ 50 total headcount.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Must be able to work in an office or manufacturing environment.
**TRAVEL**:
Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
