**About HQLAᵡ**: HQLAX is an innovative financial technology firm founded by financial market practitioners. Our vision is to accelerate the financial ecosystem’s transition towards frictionless ownership transfers of assets, and our core clients are financial institutions active in securities lending and collateral management.Together with Deutsche Börse, we created a multi-layer operating model which enables our clients to transfer ownership of securities across disparate collateral pools at precise moments in time, providing our clients with capital cost savings by reducing credit risk, intra-day liquidity requirements, and operational risk. ‍ **Position**: This role involves working with our clients, the other entities directly involved in our operating model, external vendors and the tech teams in order to design, document and deliver new products & use-cases. You will be expected to work with the HQLAX clients from initial ideas through to the delivery ensuring client satisfaction at all times. The role also involves liaising with the HQLAX Senior Management Team, the Business Development team and the Tech Team to help ensure that delivery targets are met. HQLAX has offices in Luxembourg, Zug (Switzerland) and London (UK). This opportunity exists in Luxembourg and London. Attractive and competitive benefits package included. **Responsibilities**: - Work closely with our clients and collaborate with partners to identify enhancements to the HQLAX Operating Model that bring tangible clientbenefits by solving pain points in current flows and finding innovative solutions for new flows. - Articulate & document clearly and precisely proposed solution benefits -contrasting the before and after situations. - Translate business outcomes into technology requirements and help drive the implementation of solutions for our clients, using strong project managementskills. - Leverage existing functionality for new-use cases and identify enhancements to evolve the HQLAX platform in a direction that has meaningful value for our clients. - Work with multiple stakeholders to build and deliver solutions in an efficient and timely manner e.g. other entities in the HQLAX Operating Model, clients, vendors, legal counsel. - Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. - Address the needs of clients in a way which is consistent with HQLAX volume targets. - Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on product enhancements. - Contribute to company marketing strategy to ensure our current and potential future clients are kept informed regarding the latest HQLAX platform functionality. - Collaborate with team members to achieve optimal results. - Understand regulation, legislation, and industry developments and how they will impact the business. **Qualifications**: - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with client stakeholders and HQLAX stakeholders, and to persuade and influence. - A self-starter and somebody that is willing roll up sleeves to help HQLAX achieve its goals. - At least five years of relevant industry experience. - Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. - Interest in, or knowledge of, securities lending and / or collateral management within global securities financing markets. - Ideally worked in both banking and start-up environments. - Be comfortable with ambiguity, have impeccable character, be a "player and a coach", fast learner, be strictly non-political, and be passionate aboutbuilding commercially successful solutions. - Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. - Fluent in English (spoken and written). - Excellent knowledge of MS Office, and aptitude in delivering clear and concise presentations. - Thorough understanding of both business analysis and project management techniques. - Familiar and comfortable with agile development methods (e.g. Scrum). - Understand key IT technologies used in the financial sector. - Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. - Thrives in a dynamic, challenging environment; able to adapt easily to change. - Commercial acumen. - Committed, enthusiastic and able to use initiative to drive the business forward. - Analytical mind with attention for quality, excellent problem-solving skills with strong decision-making capability. - Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and provide the highest level of client service. - Ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor’s or master’s degree. ‍
