**Responsibilities and duties**:
- Draft, review, negotiate all types of agreements in relation with central administration and ancillary services to investment funds (in English and French), predominantly Luxembourg domiciled but also domiciled in other jurisdictions (in EU or outside of EU)
- Oversee the work and provide legal support to the Domiciliation and Corporate Secretary Services department and its team leader, in their legal activities on regulated and non-regulated investment companies (Soparfi or fonds)
- Provide legal advice to internal customers related to national and international activities, especially with regard to fund regulations, corporate, banking and commercial law, contract and civil law, data protection etc.
- Assist EFA on corporate governance matters and procedures
- Advise the company on its duties and responsibilities
- Actively participate in the legal and regulatory developments including the launch of new products in coordination with other departments (compliance, risks, product development, IT )
- Contribute to EFA’s projects by providing sound legal recommendations
- Provide support to the Head of Legal and team members on various matters
- Understand and manage legal risks and litigation in the areas of activity of the company
- Perform administrative tasks in order to maintain the legal records up-to-date.
**Your profile**:
- University degree in law (BAC+5), CCDL would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the investment funds industry within a financial institution or a law firm
- Proficient English speaker, French and/or German will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent organization and coordination skills, combining attention to detail and an efficient overview of key questions and priorities
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player and self-motivated
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
