The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.

**Your role**:

- Provide legal advice and support for all types of legal documents and contracts, in particular for research-related contracts.
- Ensure the development of legal documentation and preparation of contracts, in accordance with legal regulations.
- Support informed decision-making, enhance organizational value, ensure legal compliance, and protect the University’s legal interests and reputation.
- Draft, negotiate and review a broad range of legal documents and agreements, such as research collaborations, licensing agreements, material transfer, academic, NDAs, service agreements, etc.
- Analyze and verify potential risks, proposing solutions.
- Liaise with other University services to provide all-rounded advice on projects, in particular working in close contact with the colleagues in charge of technology transfer, data protection, procurement, taxation, human resources, academic affairs, students affairs, finance, etc.
- Advise on different fields of expertise: intellectual property, state aid, public research funding, provision of services, academic affairs, creation of start-ups, public procurement, etc.
- Contribute to the development of the University’s policies, procedures and overarching projects.

**Your profile**:

- Master’s degree in law or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Fluency in English and French is required. Knowledge of German would be as a strong advantage
- Solid experience in contracts law
- Specialization in Intellectual Property Law is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with attention to details and accuracy
- Team player, able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, capable of coping with pressure
