**Position Summary**:

- The Carlyle Luxembourg platform is composed of three business segments: Global Credit, Real Assets and Europe & US Buy-Out, each led by specialized legal and financial professionals. The Treasury function operates across the full Luxembourg platform and collaborates closely with the AIFM platform and the business to support deal execution, investment management and ensure consistency across European and international investments and funds.

This role is part of the Carlyle Luxembourg’s fund management finance and legal teams supporting the deal teams in Europe and the fund accounting team in Washington DC. The AVP will oversee all treasury related functions through Carlyle’s Luxembourg entities, covering fund and holding platform level operations across multiple business lines including Europe Corporate Private Equity, International Energy, Europe Real Estate, Renewables, Infrastructure, Global Credit.Key responsibilities include managing bank account onboarding and relationships with commercial banks, ensuring compliance with treasury and cash management processes, coordinating with legal and deal teams, invoice processing, payment preparation and support during audits and year-end closing.- **Responsibilities**:
**Banking & Treasury Operations**
- Manage onboarding of bank accounts for Luxembourg entities, including submission of documentation, execution of Multiline and SIAM agreements, processing and establishment of SWIFTnet connections.
- Ensure timely handling of KYC requests from banks with support from legal and finance teams.
- Oversee the execution of time sensitive deal funding wires in conjunction with Luxembourg finance team and US/London operations teams including movement of cash through SPV structures, troubleshooting of wire issues and bank inquiries, and communication of swift copies.
- Coordinate with Banking Operations and non-Lux based (New York, London, and Washington DC) Accounting & Operations teams, and the bank and local legal counsel to ensure bank accounts for Luxembourg fund entities for new generation funds are properly integrated into Carlyle’s global treasury processes and Entities Lifecycle Management (ELM) system.

**Accounts Payable Oversight**
- Be responsible for the full Accounts Payable cycle from vendor onboarding in SAP Ariba to invoice validation, coding, approvals, and payment processing.
- This includes oversight of the Luxembourg Treasury team and coordination with the London support teams responsible for:

- o Following up on outstanding invoices and supplier queries.- o Performing callbacks for vendor verification.- o Liaise with banks and ensure payments are completed on time.- o Provide bank statement supports to US based teams.- Reconcile and analyse bank accounts during month-end.

**Team Leadership & Process Improvement**
- Mentor and support the Treasury & Accounts Payable Lead and Assistant.
- Lead cross-functional Treasury projects such as process re-engineering, centralization of cash management, bank reconciliation and intercompany structuring initiatives.
- Coordinate with global teams to deliver high-impact improvements aligned with regulatory and operational priorities.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Bac+3 in accounting, finance or related field
- Fluent in English (French and German are a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office
- Proficient understanding in wire setup, SWIFT routing, and troubleshooting of issues (knowledge of intermediary BIC/SWIFT, final beneficiary BIC/SWIFT, Sort Code, and IBANS)

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with Treasury and Finance systems such as HazelTree, SAP Ariba, Multiline, and/or PeopleSoft.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Private Equity, Real Estate, and Credit fund structures and operational requirements.
- Deep understanding of cash flow management, intercompany flows, and liquidity optimization across multi-entity structures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Proven track record in driving process automation and digital transformation within Finance or Treasury environments.
- Experience supporting Credit investment strategies, with a strong understanding of bonds, securities, and structured credit products.
- Strong project management capabilities, ideally across cross-functional or international teams.
- Experience designing and implementing dashboards, reporting tools, or analytics frameworks for Treasury or Finance stakeholders.
